Dr. King’s legacy means more than that.
Google MLK photos. Google MLK quotes. Paste, paste, post. We all do it. I’ve done it, acknowledging Martin Luther King, Jr. on MLK Day.
But his legacy means more than any Canva graphic could ever capture.
We are committed to what Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s legacy represents. We’re committed to racial justice, environmental justice, diversity, equity, allyship, and inclusion efforts within our workforce and around our community. That takes time, attention, and intention.
Because we cannot be complacent.
We accept facing uncomfortable realities in order to learn lessons and be better. We want to and do take actions that change the narrative. That change perspectives, attitudes, and lives.
On holidays, many of our employees are working. On this holiday in particular, may we all keep working toward equality and opportunity.
